The Gulf Islands Ferry is back in service. Routes are currently running to the Historic Bridge Street Pier and the Bradenton Riverwalk. There will be no service on 11/21 and 11/22 due to high winds.

Getting to and from the mainland to Anna Maria Island is easier than ever with the Gulf Islands Ferry! The ferry has been connecting Downtown Bradenton with the idyllic charm of AMI City Pier on Anna Maria Island and Historic Bridge Pier on Bradenton Beach. With the longest trip taking approximately 50 minutes, you can enjoy a scenic, traffic-free commute or a leisurely day trip. Once on Anna Maria Island, hop on the Island Trolley to explore the Bradenton Area’s best-loved beaches, shops, and dining spots.

Gulf Island Ferry offers inexpensive pricing for single and round trips, as well as offering senior and military discounts.

Anna Maria City Pier

The iconic AMI City Pier is a historic landmark offering stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. A popular destination for anglers who fish for Redfish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, and Sharks, it also hosts restaurants, sightseeing, and so much more!

Historic Bridge Street Pier

Formerly a bridge that served as the only connection from Anna Maria Island to the mainland, it has recently been restored and is now a walkable and exciting community. Bridge City Pier offers fun from beach to bay with shopping, restaurants, and much more!

Bradenton Riverwalk Pier

Located in Downtown Bradenton, the dock is located within a 2.03-mile stretch of land, offering a scenic waterfront within Rossi Park. Riverwalk hosts parks, museums, restaurants, and plenty of outdoor space for picnics and fun under the sun.

Gulf Island Ferry offers convenient stops to help you explore Bradenton Area coastline. The Bradenton Riverwalk Dock is located Downtown within the Bradenton Riverwalk, where you can enjoy walks, sipping drinks at a cafe, and much more.

Anna Maria City Pier (AMI City Pier) is a historical landmark with stunning views and charming small-town vibes, similar to Historic Bridge Street Pier in Bradenton Beach.
