That’s right, KDKA radio announcer Larry Richert and former Penguins player-turned-broadcaster Phil Bourque teamed up to explore Bradenton, Florida – Pittsburgh’s sister city – and the nearby beach communities of Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key.
Episode 1: Paradise Off the Ice
Larry and Phil hit the beach to enjoy some fun in the sun before heading over to one of the area’s many breathtaking nature preserves for a little outdoor exploration. There’s only one problem…views like these make it really hard to go home!

The duo makes some unexpected discoveries in downtown Bradenton as they stroll along the Manatee River, sample their way through the local farmers market, and explore the wonderfully eclectic Village of the Arts community.
