St. Patrick’s Day in the Bradenton Area
St. Paddy’s Day brings celebrations and revelry to the Bradenton Area. Grab your green, we’re listing a few of our favorite places to shake your shamrock.
Downtown Bradenton
Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton becomes one of the go-to destinations to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, especially when it coincides with Main Street Live. This family-friendly event offers something for everyone: live music, Irish-themed events and vendors, and of course, an Irish brew or two.
You’ll find three Irish pubs along Old Main Street: Cork’s Cigar Bar, McCabe’s Irish Pub & Ale Houe and Paddywagon Irish Pub.
Cork’s Cigar Bar is a family-owned establishment, and it shows through in their friendly hospitality. Besides the live music, trivia and games, you’ll also find fine cigars with whiskey and scotch pairings. (Be sure to venture upstairs!)
Housed in the historic Coe Building, which was built in 1897, McCabe’s Irish Pub & Alehouse is a local staple to enjoy a Guinness with friends. This no-frills tavern offers many Irish favorites in a charming pub setting. If you’re stopping by in the evenings, be sure to grab a table next to the band!
The newest addition to Old Main Street is Paddywagon Irish Pub. This brewhouse offers modern amenities, like big screen TVs, billiard tables and an endless selection of beer and spirits. Take your brew to the covered outdoor patio to enjoy the sights and sounds of downtown.
Irish on the Island
The Freckled Fin Irish Pub & Music House offers traditional beverages, live music, and large menu of traditional Irish fare. With a seemingly endless calendar of live music, you’ll never run out of opportunities to return — especially if you’re a fan of karaoke! And, on St. Patrick’s Day, the tavern turns into a destination fit for the whole family: plenty of live music, games, and other Instagrammable opportunities.
On the mainland
If you’re looking for a one-stop celebration destination, check out Clancy’s Irish Pub during their St. Paddy’s Day Bash. Well known to the locals, their Irish-meets-tropics fusion offers traditional beverages and award-winning pub fare. Clancy’s raises the bar for St. Patrick’s Day, when you’ll find all-day live music, Irish Dance performances, bagpipers and more. Don’t forget to enjoy some traditional corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, or an Irish coffee!
